Veo Athletes Achieve Several Podium Spots in August

August kicked off with great results from our roster of athletes. Edwin Avila was at the Tour of Utah last week collecting two podium spots, finishing 3rd overall on Stage 1 and 3 and as well finishing 5th on Stage 4.

Fellow Veo athlete Tom Bohli was also at the Tour of Utah working for Tour de France rider and BMC teammate Tejay van Garderen. Tom finished on the podium with a 3rd overall in the prologue on the first day of the 7-day event.

The women of Team TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank continue to push hard through the season and achieve more podium positions. This month Lex Albrecht won the Québec Provincial Criterium Championships. The team also headed overseas for the UCI Women’s World Tour Series in Vårgårda, Sweden. They placed 11th in the Time Trial event under challenging and rainy conditions.

The ladies are in Vail, Colorado this week for the Colorado Classic.
