The Time Trial Champion of Mexico And A Cycling Hat Trick

The last few weeks have been busy with a flurry of National and State Championship races on the calendar. In addition to Nicolle Bruderer's win at the National Championships in the Time Trial for Guatemala, which we mentioned in our last post, Team TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank teammate Ingrid Drexel again became the Time Trial Champion for Mexico. Team TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank can now claim three champions on their roster as Shannon Malseed became Australia’s 2018 Road National Champion earlier this year.

“We are proud to have three current national champions on our roster,” said Linda Jackson, Founder of Team TIBCO - Silicon Valley Bank. “As a team, we have committed to expanding opportunities for our riders and to help them pursue their Olympic dreams. This has included focusing on the UCI World Tour races and also National Championships. I am happy for Ingrid and Nicky and to see their hard work pay off with another national title in the individual time trial. — via Team TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank website

Elsewhere around the globe, Andrew Scott became the New Jersey U23 Time Trial State Champion, Floris Gerts placed 12th in the National Championships Netherlands Road Race, and this past weekend Tom Bohli took the top step at the Grono-Rossa in Switzerland.

This week begins with Team TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank continuing their winning steak. Kendall Ryan kicked off BC Superweek with three consecutive wins at the Tour de Delta. Shannon Malseed followed up with a second place finish at the New West Grand Prix held in historic Downtown New Westminster, BC on Tuesday.
