Tom Bohli Signs With Team UAE Emirates; Team TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank off to France

September has been a busy month thus far for the cyclists on our roster of athletes. The Team TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank announced that title sponsors TIBCO Software Inc and Silicon Valley Bank have extended their support of the longest running women’s professional cycling team in North America. We couldn't be happier for them. Prior to that, it was quietly announced that team founder, Linda Jackson, will be inducted into the Cycling Canada Hall of Fame this fall.

The team sent a squad to the Grand Prix de Plouay, then the Lotto Belgium Tour last week. As well, Lex Albrecht, Kate Buss and Emily Newsom went to Vegas. Currently, the team is now in France for the 7-stage Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l'Ardèche.

Veo athlete Tom Bohli just signed a 2-year contract with Team UAE Emirates. We're excited to continue supporting Tom and following his pursuits with this new team. In the press release welcoming Tom, the team alluded to his skill as a rouleur (all around power rider), highlighting his potential in time trials and prologues, two of the most exciting and watchable aspects of multi-day stage races. This is a great move for Tom and we congratulate him!

In other sports, we've been getting continued positive feedback from triathletes who've discovering the value of Veo strips in training and competition.

Veo uses robust adhesive but must be placed on clean, dry skin. We recommend that triathletes apply Veo before the swim, and carefully follow the package instructions, which enable it to then remain in place throughout the competition. Some care is required in removing the swim cap, but no extra time in transition.

Here’s a few recent comment from triathletes.

I tried a Veo strip at Ironman Santa Rosa 70.3 this past weekend and it worked amazingly well. It sticks very well and kept all the sweat from my face on the bike and run.
— Simon Williams
Used it last week during Eagleman on the bike, it worked great. Don’t try to change with a sweaty forehead, it doesn’t stick if the skin isn’t clean and dry.
— David Carey

We've also seen more users taking advantage of our sweat diverting technology during their indoor training sessions. We're thrilled to see Cyclebar, Peleton and Zwift athletes using Veo.
